Only one copy exists! Stay Away, Joe is the simplified title to Special Location Radio Program MGM’s “Stay Away Joe”. This record was produced for KVIO radio in Cottonwood, AZ for broadcast on Sunday, November 5, 1967. After the broadcast it was to be returned directly to Col. Parker’s office. This record surfaced as part of the Parker estate. This is a 12″, one-sided, record containing a 30 minute program featuring nine Elvis gospel songs, with announcements by Joe Adams of KVIO, thanks to the local communities of Cottonwood and Sedona for the hospitality shown the cast and crew during the filming of “Stay Away, Joe”2, advertising for “His Hand in Mine” and “How Great Thou Art”, and the Special Christmas Radio Program, scheduled to air December 3, 1967. There is no cover, however, there was an insert containing the song titles.3
